Welcome to First Presbyterian!
Delve deeper into your faith as you discover hope in your heart at First Presbyterian Church, standing proudly at the corner of Prospect and Church Streets in Marion.

You’ll wonder at the beauty of our historic building, adorned with some of the most inspiring stained-glass windows depicting Christ’s life. But it’s your head and your heart that will draw you to the Word of God as, together, we express our faith and become more rooted in our traditional Christian beliefs.

Whether it’s singing today’s contemporary Christian music or the great traditional hymns, celebrating our heritage at Kirkin’ of the Tartans, or discovering how the Bible can help us navigate through life, we hold firmly to the belief that through faith, we find hope. Hope to live fully in the present. And hope in the promise of eternal life.

Open our doors, admire our architecture, expand your mind  and heart, and worship with us. Because everyone needs hope – now more than ever.

Sunday Mornings
Join us Sunday Mornings at 10:30am

Sunday mornings start with a pre-worship gathering time in our reception area.  Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m. with our Praise Band, leading us in energetic, Spirit-filled songs. Guitars, flute, strings, and drums uplift and inspire. Music from our 1920s Koogler memorial organ leads us through our traditional service, highlighted by our Confession of Sins, Assurance of Pardon, the Lord’s Prayer, and Apostles’ Creed.

Have children? Bring them to Sunday worship. If you choose, complimentary childcare is provided on the lower level by trained and certified staff members
